FILLED OF THINGS THAT WERE DONE IN FIRST 100 DAYS IN DENMARK (DAY 77)

DAY 77 – August 3, 2009

There are so many tings in my mind right now. I had time to think and to update myself of what is happening in the Philippines right now.

I was deeply saddened by the death of Corazon Aquino. She died at the of 73 years old after suffering of colon cancer for a year now. She served as the 11th president of the Philippines from 1986 to 1992. She was the first female president of the Philippines and was Asia's first female president. She was an instrument to achieve freedom and democracy from Marcos’ regime. She was known as “a housewife to president”. And after I watched tributes to her and interviews with the people who inspired by her life, I can say that I am really PROUD TO BE PINOY! And the FILIPINO IS WORTH DYING FOR. I am not a part of People’s Power I but I am a product of what was happened and every time I watched the documentary of People’s Power, my heart beats faster and I am proud o what they done. That’s why when I had a chance to raise my voice in People’s Power II, I didn’t hesitant to participate in the rally. Now, I am inspired by her life as a woman and Filipino. There’s no way that I can survive and I can do better here in foreign land though I am a woman and a Filipino. I’ll keep my chin up and say I AM PROUD TO BE PINAY!

I miss Philippines! I came across a commercial about Philippine tourism and they showed how beautiful Bicol is. I was stunned by it beauty and I felt that I haven’t seen the Philippines yet. I experiencing now how to live in other country, what’s like to be in other country and see beautiful spots here. Denmark, or may I say Europe, is far different from the Philippines in different aspect. But I can say that I still love Philippines, the beaches, people and life-style. I am excited to go back in the Philippines and experience things again. I am thrilled to see beautiful islands and dive into the warm water. Philippines is not perfect country. Other may say that it is better to live here and cursed Philippines but for me. That’s my home and that’s where I belong. I will see you again Pinas!

MORAL LESSON:

Ecclesiastes 11:6 (Amplified Bible)

6In the morning sow your seed, and in the evening withhold not your hands, for you know not which shall prosper, whether this or that, or whether both alike will be good.
