7 “Keep on asking, and you will receive what you ask for. Keep on seeking, and you will find. Keep on knocking, and the door will be opened to you. 8 For everyone who asks, receives. Everyone who seeks, finds. And to everyone who knocks, the door will be opened.
Matthew 7:7-8 (New Living Translation)
This is an overstated verse for a Christian. All Christians know what it is and all Sunday school students memorized this by heart. But what reminds me as I read again this passage is the word “keep”. Like a child, if they want something they will remind their parents over and over again.
Keep on asking, keep on finding and keep on knocking. Don’t grow weary in believing that He will answer every prayer.
