BIBLE READING -- JOB 11-12

Listen! God is doubtless punishing you    far less than you deserve! (Job 11:6)

I am fascinated in the Book of Job, the debate, the reasoning, the true meaning and true lesson. What will I learn in the Book of Job? It is mere suffering.
Job lost everything, literally, family and livelihood. His three friends were the only person left to encourage and help him but instead he was mock and drag him to confess that he sinned that's why things aren't going well. God didn't give troubles and problems because of the sin that we did yesterday, last night or just few hours ago. We are love before we are born, we are forgiven before we ask for it. When we accept Jesus, He doesn't promise a bed of roses. When we decide to follow Him and serve Him inside the church, He didn't promise that will not experience problems. And christians, inside the church, we they heard of bad things happenning with their brothers and sisters, first question, is he still going to the church? Going to the church or having ministry is not a ticket to exempt us in having trials.

These trials are only to test your faith, to show that it is strong and pure. It is being tested as fire tests and purifies gold -- and your faith is far more precious to God than mere gold. So if your faith remains strong after being tried by fiery trials, it will bring you much praise and glory and honor on the day when Jesus Christ is revealed to the whole world. (1 Peter 1:7 NLT)
