FILLED OF THINGS THAT WERE DONE IN FIRST 100 DAYS IN DENMARK (DAY 40)

DAY 40 – June 27, 2009

It’s my second day here in summer house!

Jess and I woke up late. We had some breakfast and took shower and then off to go for walk to see the entire town. As we were walking, I passed by in the house that got my attention me. When I arrived here I am trying to find my dream house, I mean my kind of house that I wanted to copy when I go back to the Philippines. I didn’t like the houses in Charlottenlund because there are big and old. It is hard to make one in the Philippines but this one. It is perfect! It is small but cute one, colored-pink house with blue paint in the windows and have a nice rooftop. Almost perfect I think. Then, we saw the restaurant the where we ate last night, a loppe market but not that good. While we were trying to find some stuff in loppe market, we saw a parade. With different nation and they were shouting. I don’t know what it is but it was cool. Finally, we went to the supermarket and bought some food and off to the beach. I walked until we got tired and then stayed for couple of hours and then took some pictures. Until we decided to get a blanket put our swimming clothes and get some sun-bathing. It was a relaxing one. I appreciate the beach and try to lie in the sun. Also, I enjoyed seeing family took a day off and have a bonding moment with their kids. I think that’s the most important thing as a parent and as a child that will be the most memorable day in their life. After one hour we decided to go home.

My Dream house

At home, we played with the kids and I learned some Danish language (I hope I will not forget it when I get home..hehehehe…) while Mette and Lars are preparing for our dinner. They are so nice and I feel comfortable with them. I was never intimidated with them, considering that I am a foreigner. I don’t know but there’s something in their family that I really enjoy. The food was great. Barbecue fish, potato and sausage with sauce and kababa sauce (am I right?) and have some talk regarding everything. After a while, Jess wanted to watch a movie outside. So, we watched until 10pm and it is freezing cold outside but its ok, the movie is good.

I was thinking while I was helping Jess in the kitchen. I know now what I wanted to do when I have my own family and house. I think this is a glimpse what will be a life as a wife and mother. And the feeling of running a family and household. Little by little a get a chance to see the “real” lesson the He wanted to teach me in this area. And I want to thank God for that. All glory and praise to You! I really love this Man.
